"Unfassbar gute Platte" twittert Casper, als Crack Ignaz im Juli sein Debütalbum "Kirsch" bei Melting Pot Music veröffentlicht. Die "Juice" vergibt 5 von 6 Kronen, macht die Platte zum Album des Monats und stellt fest: "Österreich hat einen neuen Rapmessias." "Noisy" erklärt den jungen MC aus Salzburger zum "König des progressiven Alpenswags" und sieht in "Kirsch" "nicht weniger als die Blaupause für deutschsprachigen Based-Rap vor. Ein Magnum Opus des Swag-Rap."
Und was macht Crack Ignaz? Er verzieht sich mit Superproducer Wandl ins Lab und veröffentlicht keine sechs Monate nach "Kirsch" ein zweites Album. Die Platte heisst "Geld Leben" und wird einige Leute hart vor den Kopf stoßen. Statt mehr Autotune, mehr cloudige Synthflächen und mehr "Trapbeats" schneidert Wandl ihm einen samplelastigen Soundteppich der mehr "Pinata" als "Hotline Bling" ist.
Warum macht Crack Ignaz das? Weil er es kann und zwar so gut wie grade kaum ein anderer deutschsprachiger MC. Und weil er einen Dings drauf gibt was dein Bruder und dein Vater dazu sagen. Swag!
